The patented Armourbrite™ System is a revolutionary process which offers maintenance free signs that are indistinguishable from brass. The process used in this sign manufacturing is leading edge thin film technology. A titanium based coating is applied to a base plate of stainless steel and polished to a mirror finish. To create the required image, the plate is then etched enabling fine detail reproduction which is then protected by the brass effect titanium coating.
The final process is to infill the etched image with black cellulose-based paint which provides a hard wearing image. Signs created with the Armourbrite™ System offer superb corrosion resistance and stay permanently polished.
