Our team of designers have developed a range of clear and easy to understand wayfinding signs specifically designed to be suitable for those suffering from Dementia. Each sign clearly marks certain room types whilst also complimenting your care home interior.
The colour ranges have been chosen to create signage that has a high LRV (light reflectance value) which means the background of the sign has a high contrast to the images and text, something particularly important in those who are suffering with dementia and impaired vision.
This set of care home signage for Dementia steps away from the standard commonly used signage with a harsh yellow background. Yellow is widely used in safety signage to signify "danger", potentially causing worry in patients and removing any calm feeling that a care home should have.
A strong, clear font is used and combined with a clear, one colour 3D image of the room name which makes the sign instantly easy to understand.
Each sign is 200 wide x 200 mm high and made from 5mm thick material. They are supplied with ultra strong double sided tape to the reverse so are extremely quick and easy to fit.
