Secure Shopping and Your Privacy

Your confidence in our website, your privacy and internet security is really important to us, so we've put together some advice to help keep you safe and in control when you shop online.

CREATE A SECURE PASSWORD

We know it can be difficult to remember passwords, but setting a secure password on every website you use is vital in combatting online fraud. Here are some tips to help:

We’re committed to protecting your privacy – read our updated privacy policy to find out more.

PROTECTING YOUR PAYMENT SECURITY

We take your privacy and the security of your payment and personal details very seriously. We use the highest levels of security to protect them, including high-level SSL encryption technology – the most advanced website security software currently available for online transactions.

Look for the locked padlock icon that appears at the bottom of the Signbox web page. You’ll also see that ‘https’ replaces 'http' at the front of the www.shop.signbox.co.uk URL in the address window.

USING PUBLIC WIFI

Try to avoid using an unsecured network in a public place to prevent unauthorised people intercepting what you're doing online. We also recommend you only connect to secure wireless networks that you trust and to stay aware of the risks associated with using public Wi-Fi.

PHISHING

Phishing is a cybercrime that’s used to trick people into giving away confidential information. People and organisations can be targeted by email, telephone or text message and lured into providing sensitive information that could be used maliciously, for example, for identity theft, fraud or infecting computers with malware.

Signbox will never ask you to send any personal details this way. If we need important information from you, for security reasons we'll ask you to contact us by phone. Should you receive an email claiming to be from Signbox requesting this kind of information, please don't respond, but do let us know about it so we can take action.
